The Oleander Moth larvae feed on the

highly poisonous Oleander Plant.

They also feed on the Devil's Potato.  The

highly poisonous plant is shunned by most

caterpillars. The moth is sometimes called

the Polka-dot Wasp because it looks and acts

like a wasp.  This trait is important to its

survival.  It is one of the few moths that

flies during the daytime.  It has a red behind,

metallic blue body and wings and white

spots. It is sometimes called the Uncle Sam Moth

because of its red, white and blue colors.

I had to have a second Oleander, but

the flowers of this one are white.

Maybe one of these plants will attract

the Oleander Moth.
